  • Vladimir Kozlov’s spouse Aliya Turusbekova finally managed to meet the arrested “Alga!: party leader. The visit took place yesterday in the NSC hospital, where the politician remains after his inguinal hernia operation. In return the NSC officers demanded that Aliya told the pro-governmental television channels on the state news of his health condition.

  • Aleksey Plugov, advocate to “Alga!” non-registered party leader Vladimir Kozlov, confirmed today that his client had undergone an operation in the Central military hospital of Almaty. Neither the advocate, nor the politician’s wife, Aliya Turusbekova are allowed to see him; neither of them know the official diagnosis. The hospital confirmed that no patient of that name had even been admitted.

  • Head of regional “Alga!” unregistered party branch Marat Zhanuzakov and his deputy, Viktor Novikov were detained on Wednesday by members of Office for communal security of the Department of internal affairs of Kokshetau city. The most likely reason for the detention was the picket at the NSC building, where the “Alga!” members demanded “Freedom for Vladimir Kozlov!”
