  • Yesterday, the Almaty city court revised the complaint appeal by Vladimir Kozlov, who is accused by the NSC of incitement to social hatred. The leader of the non-registered “Alga!” party asked the court to permit his presence during the session, but his application did not even reach the jury.

Respublika: Invitation to visit the police as a reward for a picket, 19.03.2012

  • Last Friday, Gulzhan Tolemisova (president of the organisational committee on “Alga!” foundation in Aktoba) and Shara Turmagambetova (party activist) spent two hours at the Zavodsk city police department. The women were detained during a picket in the city centre, where they were handing out flyers. During the investigations it became clear the police had no idea why the activists were brought onto the premises.
